About the Project
English is a challenging subject for O-Level students due to the complex syllabus and intimidating proficiency requirements. With 7 distinct components each testing various skills, an exceeding command of the language and familiarity with the syllabus is crucial to find success in exams. For our Singaporean youth, who grew up with interference from local dialects, this is particularly significant as English is a core subject that impacts future educational opportunities. Similar to other subjects, the curriculum requires students to retain and apply cumulative knowledge from previous lessons / years whilst grasping new concepts. Likewise, exam-taking skills & time management remain critical considerations. These hurdles hinder students from performing under exam conditions - which is where we come into the picture.
